Medicare Prescription Plan Analysis

The Annual Election Period for Medicare will be soon upon us. This runs every year between October 15th and December 7th. If you have a Medicare Advantage Plan or a stand-alone Prescription drug plan (that is paired with a Medicare Supplement) you may make changes for the following year during this period.

Your prescriptions may not have changed but all of your drugs may not be in the same tier with your existing carrier. They may not be covered at all or another carrier will do a significantly better job for the coming year. The plan you had this year may not have the same provisions such as a zero deductible. Then again maybe your scripts are different from a previous analysis.

We believe that the changes in formularies that happen each year with Medicare Advantage Plans and stand-alone Prescription Drug Plans deserve attention EVERY year. 

Our annual review service examines all of your current prescriptions using the Medicare.gov website which will take in to account your individual lineup.

Unfortunately the Medicare.gov web site is undergoing a major change. The current process of using a unique 10 digit code paired with your zip code and a password date will no longer work.

In order for us to continue to provide this review capability YOU must now create a NEW account at the medicare.gov or mymedicare.gov web sites.  We cannot create these accounts on your behalf. Existing accounts will no longer work. You will need to use your new Medicare Beneficiary Identifier (MBI) number to create your account.

Once you have created your unique ID and PW please call Stacy Clemons, our client services manager with the information if you wish to continue to work with us. Please do this ASAP.
